Preface

The first issue of a collection of scientific articles from the Department of General and Experimental Psychology was published by the HSE Publishing House in 2007 under the title “Man in a Situation of Uncertainty.” The department’s next scientific collection is published at a significant time - this is the anniversary year of the 20th anniversary of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and at the same time the anniversary year of the 10th anniversary of our faculty. Over the course of a decade, our faculty has quite dynamically fit into the HSE space, not only as an academic department, but primarily as a scientific community of outstanding figures in science and education, including a whole galaxy of true luminaries of modern Russian psychology, founders of unique scientific schools - V. D. Shadrikov, V. . P. Zinchenko, V. A. Petrovsky. It is also of interest that of the five regular professors of the Faculty of Psychology, endowed with a special professorial status at HSE, four are professors of the Department of General and Experimental Psychology - V. D. Shadrikov, V. P. Zinchenko, A. K. Bolotova, A. N. . Poddyakov.

Energy and talent, intelligence and encyclopedicism, relevance and involvement in challenges modern science and practice allows our professors to hold the bar of scientific knowledge high, to be an example for young, aspiring scientists in mastering and researching the most relevant and promising areas of modern psychology.

The structure and content of our scientific collection are built in such a way as to fully reflect all the promising areas of scientific research by the department’s staff. An important point in the improvement and development of the department’s scientific collection is the appearance of the “New dissertation research” section, which presents scientific developments and research results of young scientists, applicants and graduate students of the department.

The topics of the presented scientific articles can be summarized in a number of thematic blocks. These are, first of all, articles of a philosophical and methodological orientation, containing the fundamental principles and categories of modern psychological science as an indispensable condition for studying human development and activities (V.D. Shadrikov, V.P. Zinchenko, A.K. Bolotova). A number of works are devoted to the study of human behavior and personal resources in various, including extreme, conditions (O. N. Molchanova, E. N. Osin, E. A. Orel, Yu. G. Ovchinnikova, A. N. Poddyakov).

The articles by I. N. Semenov and Yu. M. Stakina explore the reflection of students’ spiritual development and resilience. A special series of articles in the collection consists of purely experimental studies by I. S. Utochkin, S. R. Yagolkovsky, M. D. Kuznetsova. A collective image of descriptive psychologies and their analysis is presented in the theoretical article by A. M. Ulanovsky.

The scientific collection ends with a selection of articles by graduate students and young scientists under the heading “New dissertation research.” These are articles based on the results of dissertation research by graduate students of the department M. D. Kuznetsova, A. K. Zakharova, Yu. V. Briseva, Yu. D. Babaeva, M. B. Markina, T. Yu. Nekrasova, P. B. Selyugina and M. R. Khachaturova.

The most important philosophical and methodological problem of the category of activity is posed in the title article of the collection by V. D. Shadrikov. The article argues that the concept of activity can become the initial abstraction that will allow us to create a theory of education in general and vocational education in particular. The leading methodological principle here is a person as a subject of activity, the main components of which are goals, needs and results. Set out theoretical concept activity and the place of abilities in its implementation allows us to outline the fundamental paths to the development of new didactics that ensure high quality education.

Pre-experimental readiness to master words and become familiar with culture is presented in the article by V. P. Zinchenko. The article examines the conditions, or prerequisites, for mastering language and culture, which the author, following G. G. Shpet, A. A. Ukhtomsky, M. Heidegger and N. A. Bernstein, calls the pre-experimental beginning. The path of development of the pre-experimental principle is its differentiation, carried out in fused communication, due to which diverse forms of culturally mediated behavior are built. The alternation and interaction of mediation and immediacy is considered by the author as an indispensable condition for human development and activity.

Temporal aspects of the nature of the emergence and development of self-awareness are presented in the article by A.K. Bolotova. It is assumed that at different stages of ontogenesis, self-awareness manifests itself as self-knowledge, self-attitude and self-realization. The dynamism of self-awareness and the change in its components over time is confirmed by a number of empirical studies by domestic and foreign scientists (K. Rogers, K. Levin, B. Zeigarnik, I. Kon, V. Mukhina). How key point self-awareness also represents self-esteem, which is especially important in the context of understanding age-related development and personality formation.

The sources of development and consequences of low self-esteem for the individual are discussed in the article by O. N. Molchanova. Empirically, we analyze distinctive features people with low self-esteem. The possibility of changes in low self-esteem over time, which influences the restructuring of individual behavior, is discussed. The conclusion is drawn about the complexity and ambiguity of the connection between the level characteristics of self-esteem and the personal characteristics of human behavior.

In the article by E. N. Osin and E. A. Orel, in line with the influence of time perspective on psychological well-being, an attempt is made to reproduce the logic of analyzing the connection between time perspective and personal resources: hope, optimism and resilience. Indicators of time perspectives in women demonstrate weak and moderate connections with indicators of personal resources. A balanced time perspective in women also reflects the highest indicators of optimism, hope and resilience.

Features of coping with deliberately created difficulties are analyzed in the article by A. N. Poddyakov. In the process of overcoming specially created difficulties, it may be important whether a person believes that they were created for constructive, developmental purposes or for destructive ones. Experimental evidence has been obtained that a person’s behavior strategies differ depending on whether his activities are intentionally interfered with or whether the difficulties arose for objective reasons. It is experimentally substantiated that human behavior strategies change when faced with objective difficulties.

In the article by Yu. G. Ovchinnikova on psychological assistance in a crisis situation, a crisis is understood as a situation, on the one hand, extreme and requiring immediate intervention, and on the other, constructive and potentially fruitful. The article discusses interventions that help a person withstand the stress of a crisis period. It is emphasized that crisis intervention must be timely, since premature intervention reduces the individual’s resources. The article presents a new model of providing psychological assistance based on the principles of “understanding psychology.”

The article by I. N. Semenov is devoted to the study of the reflexivity of spiritual self-determination of students, where a humanitarian-cultural approach to the consideration of reflection as a component of spiritual culture is proclaimed. The primary tasks of universities are to encourage and correct the spiritual development of students. An article by Yu. M. Stakina is devoted to the study of the resilience of students of various professional orientations. It is empirically substantiated that humanities students discover relatively low performance resilience compared to technical students. At the same time, religiosity is considered as an additional personal resource that helps in overcoming life’s difficulties.

A study of the effectiveness of visual search is presented in an experimental article by I. S. Utochkin. In special experimental conditions, spatial and object search for changes in strategies in the visual scene are compared. It has been shown and empirically substantiated that with the targeted use of one or another strategy for searching for changes, the most effective strategy was the object search strategy, which helps reduce the “blindness effect” to changes.

A scientific article is a completed work of authorship that describes the results of an original scientific research(primary scientific article) or devoted to the consideration of previously published scientific articles related to a common topic (review scientific article). In primary scientific articles, the authors present essential information about the research conducted in a form that allows other members of the scientific community to evaluate the research, reproduce the experiments, and evaluate the reasoning and conclusions drawn from them. Review scientific articles are intended to summarize, analyze, evaluate, summarize or synthesize previously published information (primary scientific publications). Often a scientific article combines these two types of scientific texts, including a review and an original part.

Currently, the main presentation for a scientific article is the printed form. This situation is gradually changing - some publishing houses, along with the release of a printed issue of the journal, post the texts of published scientific articles on the Internet for free access. However, in most cases this is done for subscribers or on a paid basis, which means that there are virtually no articles on the Internet and makes it difficult for the researcher to find scientific information.

The CyberLeninka project is designed to correct the situation in this area. We provide a universal catalog that contains many articles from various

Preface

At the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Society and Sociology in Modern Russia” (Vologda, ISEDT RAS, November 13–15, 2014), it was noted that the sociology of labor has left the mainstream of sociological science. Meanwhile, the content of this collection of scientific articles, which is published annually by the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, casts doubt on this statement. Over the past ten years, the sociology of labor has been actively reviving in a number of Russian universities, and not least through the efforts of the Center for the Sociology of Labor of the SI RAS under the leadership of the leading research fellow Institute B. G. Tukumtsev. This collection contains articles by employees of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as teachers from a number of Russian state universities collaborating with the Center for the Sociology of Labor of the Institute of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since the Center maintains contacts with a number of foreign scientific institutions, the collection also includes articles by scientists from Belarus and Ukraine.

The content of the articles reflects current problems of the current state of the social and labor sphere. Some of them are further development ideas presented by the authors as reports at scientific and practical conferences over the past two years. We are talking, first of all, about the All-Russian Conference “ Modern society and labor" (St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg State University, November 28–29, 2013) and the following international conference "Social innovations in development labor relations and employment in the 21st century", which was held in 2014 by the Nizhny Novgorod state university them. N.I. Lobachevsky. The SI Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences was directly involved in the preparation of these events, which were a significant event in the development of domestic sociology of labor. The conferences served as an impetus for further rethinking of labor issues and a clearer vision of problems in the labor sphere that require priority solutions today.

Their essence was most fully expressed by V. A. Yadov: “In recent years, Russian labor sociologists have been conducting research on a very wide range of problems. This is evidenced by the materials of conferences held in recent years, published collections and monographs. And this cannot but please us. But I would like to draw your attention to the need for more attention to the analysis of the state of labor relations in Russia.

The changes that occurred in the field of labor relations in the early 1990s gave rise to a number of difficult social consequences. They not only inflicted severe cultural trauma on wage workers, but also created insurmountable social obstacles to the modernization of the domestic economy and society as a whole. Sociologists of labor cannot remain aloof from searching for ways to change the current situation” (Social Innovations... 2014: 15).

The articles in this issue of the collection examine issues of social interaction and its institutions as the basis of social and labor relations (articles by Yu. Yu. Chilipenok; V. Yu. Bocharov and B. G. Tukumtsev). The fundamental problem of precarization in the labor sphere was highlighted in the article by I. L. Sizova. In this regard, the development of public-private partnerships is significant. The problems of protecting the rights of hired workers are covered in the article by B. I. Maksimov. In addition to these areas of analysis, the articles in the collection pay attention to the problems of volunteering, youth entrepreneurship and some other aspects of the labor sphere.

Let us emphasize once again that for the development of our foreign contacts, the fact that this collection contains articles by our colleagues from Belarus (L. G. Titarenko and G. N. Sokolova) and Ukraine (V. A. Butkalyuk) is very important.

The main directions of planned research at the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences are reflected in articles devoted to the problems of reproduction of scientific personnel (E. A. Ivanova, S. I. Boyarkina, B. G. Tukumtseva); health – in connection with indicators of living standards (I. S. Pautova); health financing in Russian Federation(L. V. Panova). A number of articles reflect the ongoing search in the field of improving the methodology of statistical research (G. V. Kanygina, M. S. Poltinnikova, A. E. Geger, S. A. Geger, Yu. A. Chupakhina).

The article by O. B. Bozhkov and T. Z. Protasenko is devoted to new forms of behavior as indicators of socio-cultural and institutional changes. The important topic of interaction between institutions is touched upon local authorities and entrepreneurship in rural areas (S. N. Ignatova, O. B. Bozhkov). The collection ends with an article by A. G. Shchelkin, touching on controversial issues of sociological science that have not lost their relevance.

As always, the collection contains a section “Scientific Life”, which provides an overview of the scientific and practical conference on the problems of the sociology of labor and labor relations.

We draw the attention of readers to the updated website of the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences http://www.socinst.ru, and also to the fact that the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences has switched to a new domain socinst.

During the preparation of this collection, Russian sociologists suffered a severe, irreparable loss - Vladimir Aleksandrovich Yadov (1929–2015) died. The collection includes the memoirs of B. G. Tukumtsev, who worked closely with V. A. Yadov for many years. Initially, these memories were posted on the website of the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, but we consider it necessary to preserve them for subsequent generations of sociologists.

In the same issue there is a note in memory of our friend and teacher – Samuil Aronovich Kugel (1924–2015).

Social interaction in the world of work

Social partnership on industrial enterprises

V. Yu. Bocharov, B. G. Tukumtsev

The presented article presents the results of an analysis of the state of labor relations at modern industrial enterprises both in Russia and economically developed countries abroad, as well as trends in their changes under the influence of modernization processes. The approach to social partnership is substantiated as one of the modern states (forms) of labor relations, which continues to change its content under the influence of production modernization processes. The possibility of assessing the state of labor relations and the compliance of participants in the labor process with the requirements imposed by the modernization of the technical foundations of production is considered. A description of the methodology is provided to assess the involvement of workers in the activities of the enterprise, as well as the state of formation of social partnership.

Key words: labor relations, social partnership, commitment, inclusion, modernization, post-industrial, information structure, hired labor, cooperation.

Instead of a preface

This article discusses some results of an analysis of the state of the social and labor sphere recent years, including our thoughts on current state labor relations in economically developed countries and in the industrial sector of Russia; justification of the need to change the content of these relations, bringing them into line with the requirements of the upcoming modernization of production; and finally, the opinion of a number of experts about the conditions that could contribute to the real emergence and development of such a modern form of these relations as social partnership.

In working on this article, in addition to literary sources, we turned to the materials of a number of our own studies, carried out by us in the period from 1995 to 2013 at a number of manufacturing enterprises (Tukumtsev 2001: 41–50; Bocharov, Tukumtsev 2001: 154–158; Tukumtsev 2008: 319–338; Bocharov 2010). We sought to find arguments confirming the mutual (even if not yet fully realized) interest of the parties to labor relations in the humanization and democratization of those operating in this area social institutions. We tried to pay no less attention to debunking the hopes of a number of government and economic organizations on the possibility of modernizing Russian manufacturing exclusively and only through updating technological equipment and professional training of personnel without changing the content of labor relations and their social institutions. It seems to us that even today this cannot be regarded as anything other than a strategic mistake. And we tried in our article to increase attention to the arguments in favor of such a conclusion.
